Jaris, an expectant supermom in her early thirties and widow of Dillon’s late friend, feels grateful for Dillon’s ongoing “love thy neighbor as thyself” support. When Dillon offers to drive her sick son Griffin home instead of letting him take the bus, he goes a step further and invites the whole family over to watch old pro basketball tapes of Griffin’s late father. But when Jaris and her daughters Hayley and Roxy arrive, Dillon and Griffin are nowhere to be found—just a new roommate crashed on the couch. While waiting for them to bring snacks, Jaris and Hayley clash over paying for a prom limo and dress. Meanwhile, Savannah and Shane hit a high point, but things get messy when Shane is spotted on what looks like a date with his ex, Londyn.
